Elham Way Footpath

Wednesday, 8 December, 2021
Sue @ Elham Road

The Aylesbury South East team sent around a note to Elham Way residents this week regarding the works being undertaken on the footpaths. You can read the letter below.

We are pleased that work has finally commenced on the repairing of part of the footpath in Elham Way. This work is to lower the surface and foul water covers due to problems with the substrata around and beneath the manhole chambers which has caused the ground to heave as opposed to sinking.  There will also be remedial works to the surrounding footway once these repairs are complete.

We have requested, that other problem locations in the area are also investigated. This is happening with Thames Water reporting back their findings to the Street Works Team along with proposed remedial actions.

Yours

Sue Chapple, Denise Summers, David Thompson & Roger King
