An independent review by the Local Government Boundary Commission has set new ward boundaries for Buckinghamshire. This ensures fair and equal representation for residents across the county.
Under the new arrangements, Buckinghamshire now has 97 councillors in total – 50 fewer than before. This streamlining will make the council more efficient, reduce costs, and deliver better value for taxpayers.
There are now ten wards with three councillors each, twenty-eight wards with two councillors, and eleven wards with one councillor. These changes will help councillors focus on the needs of their communities while keeping local government effective and responsive.
In the Aylesbury constituency every ward is a two member ward, with our Association now comprising of:
- Aston Clinton & Weston Turville
- Aylesbury East
- Aylesbury North
- Aylesbury North West
- Aylesbury South East
- Aylesbury South West
- Aylesbury West
- Bierton, Kingsbrook & Wing
- Ivinghoe
- and parts of Berryfields, Buckingham Park & Watermead and Quainton.
