Married father of two, Charles has always had a keen interest in local politics. He is standing for the Unitary council to be a strong voice for local residents. If elected, he will work with his Council colleagues to prioritise post-Covid recovery for local businesses and work towards making Aylesbury South West the best it can be for residents, both young and old.
Local small business owner Asalat lives in the heart of the ward in Southcourt with his family. As the owner of a local newsagents Asalat has seen first hand the impact that Covid has had on the local community. He is standing for Unitary Council because he is concerned about crime in the local area, and he wants to unite our community during these challenging times. He will use his local knowledge, community spirit and energy to support residents on the issues that matter the most to them.
Originally from the North East, Sarah moved to Aylesbury just over 10 years ago from London. Having lived in Walton Court and Southcourt she has now settled in Berryfields. A former school governor, working in the centre of town she understands the concerns residents have across Aylesbury South West including the recent one way system in Southcourt, anti-social behaviour in the Edinburgh Playing Fields and traffic concerns. She has enjoyed playing a part in a number of community projects across Aylesbury and most recently was involved in the food collections during lockdown via the Bernie the Bus project which collected food and donations for the Vineyard foodbank.
