Originally from Nigeria Jimi and his family have lived near Raban’s Lane for over 15 years. Jimi, who previously owned and ran a small family business, now divides his time between his role as a Pastor and working on his PhD in Global Criminology.
Jimi was inspired to stand for Buckinghamshire Council as he has long been involved with supporting his local community and he now hopes to be able to help all of the residents of Aylesbury North West as well as the County. As an academic he understands how important education is for our children and young adults, if elected Jimi will be able to fight to ensure that our children continue to get the best education possible.
Graham has lived and worked in Aylesbury for over 30 years. He was elected onto Aylesbury Vale District Council and Town Council for Gatehouse Ward in 2015 and it has been one of his proudest achievements to be able to support residents with issues big or small over the last 6 years.
Living in the heart of the ward, Graham has seen our town change before his eyes and wants to make sure residents are getting the best out of the unitary Council whether that be dealing with problem parking, potholes and pavement issues or rubbish collection.
Born and bred in Aylesbury, John lives in Savernake and has worked in our town Centre his whole life acquiring a wealth of local knowledge to help support the residents and their concerns in the area, john is a Kingsbrook Parish Councillor and a member of the Aylesbury Garden Town project representing all of the North Parishes, both roles adding to his ability to support his community as he takes personal pride in trying to make our area a better place for all its residents.
When not at work John operates a youth football club, and enjoys volunteering at St Marys Church at Christmas to support the more vulnerable members of our community, he is hoping to utilise his skills to other community projects and local fundraising causes.
