A second chance to get involved to co-design the Aylesbury Gardenway

On Monday 25 January phase two of community engagement for Aylesbury Gardenway begins with a series of online workshops launching to co-design the look and feel of the Aylesbury Gardenway. The Aylesbury Gardenway is an 18km orbital park that will encircle Aylesbury and link it with surrounding villages.

During this phase people will have an opportunity to listen to some of the feedback received so far and to join online conversations that will focus on the specific sections of the Gardenway. Information from co-design workshops will be brought together to finalise the proposed route to provide fully accessible routes for walking, wheeling and cycling, encouraging active lifestyles, growing food as well as outdoor leisure and a haven for wildlife.

Cllr. Steve Bowles, who is Aylesbury Garden Town Strategic Board Chairman and Cabinet Member for Town Centre Regeneration thanked everyone who has already been involved in the project and encouraged people to get involved with the new phase by visiting the Aylesbury Gardenway website www.aylesburygardenway.co - here you can find more information about the whole project as well as nature and heritage walks.
