Residents who rely on ShopMobility services will now benefit from a more accessible and convenient location following the organisation's move to the ground floor of Friars Square Car Park. The new base places ShopMobility just a short distance from Aylesbury's train and bus stations, making it easier for residents and visitors to reach the town centre. It also provides direct access to both Friars Square and Hale Leys shopping centres, helping more people enjoy everything Aylesbury has to offer.
As well as improved access, the new location offers convenient customer parking and includes a dedicated practice area where first-time users can become familiar with operating a mobility scooter before setting off.
ShopMobility plays an important role in helping people with limited mobility remain independent and continue accessing local shops, services and community facilities. The relocation will make the service even more accessible while supporting Aylesbury's town centre and ensuring more residents can shop, visit and spend time in the heart of the county town.
