It was thanks to the hard work of volunteers within our community that got the shop and café up and running and they are once again looking for community support for a new building that could house the community store.
Cllr David Carroll said, “due to the fire damage the porta cabin which the store was in has been demolished. Myself and my ward colleagues Steve and Audrey are doing what we can to support getting this community shop, the heart of our village back on track. ”
A Local Giving campaign has been set up to raise awareness and to appeal for time, skills and donations to help rebuild the shop. You can find out more at
