Buckinghamshire Council is asking parents and carers across the county to share their views on holiday childcare as part of a survey designed to help shape future provision. Whether families currently use holiday childcare or not, the council says it wants to build a clearer picture of what is needed during the school holidays. This includes understanding what childcare is currently available locally, where there may be gaps in provision and what barriers make childcare difficult to access.
The feedback will help inform future planning and support the development of holiday childcare that better meets the needs of local families.
The survey is open to parents and carers of children aged 0 to 14, or up to 18 for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Families who live in Buckinghamshire, or whose children attend school or childcare in the county, are invited to take part. Residents can complete the survey online, request a printed copy or email their feedback to [email protected].
The survey closes on Sunday 30 August 2026 at 11:59pm
