Opening Kingsbrook School

Today the state of the art, multi-million-pound Kingsbrook View Primary Academy was officially opened having welcomed students a week earlier. Aston Clinton & Bierton Councillors, Bill Chapple Mike Collins & Julie Ward joined students, parents, school & Council staff for the opening ceremony and the beautiful bubbles provided by the students. This is the first school on the Kingsbrook estate, a wildlife friendly development in Aylesbury, and will fit in with the character of the local area with a number of landscaping features and planting choices to maximise benefits for wildlife.

The funding for the school came from Homes England through the Housing Infrastructure Funding and Section 106 funding. The school has room for 420 primary school pupils, including a 52-place nursery.
