Coronation Emblem

With HM King Charles’ Coronation fast approaching we wanted to make residents aware that if you are planning a street party you may need to apply for a temporary road closure. You will need to apply before 7th April to Buckinghamshire Council. The Council have waived the fee for any parties/celebrations that are held between Saturday 6th and Monday 8th May. If you are having a smaller celebration that doesn’t require a street closure then you don’t need to inform the Council, but you will need to keep pavements clear to allow residents to move safely along the street.

To request an application form you can e-mail events@buckinghamshiregov.uk.

A number of resources are available to download including kids activity sheets and recipe cards and more at https://coronation.gov.uk/toolkit/
