Conservative-run Buckinghamshire Council are setting out a new Corporate Plan for 2026–2031 – and it is so important that residents help to shape it. At its heart, the plan is about making a positive difference for people, communities, and businesses across our county.
The draft priorities are clear: opportunity and aspiration for all, shaping great places, thriving communities, and supporting the most vulnerable. Alongside this, a balanced budget must be set, making sure every pound of council tax delivers value for money.
Over 70% of spending goes on essential services like adult social care, children’s services, home-to-school transport, and temporary accommodation. Despite national pressures, Conservatives in Buckinghamshire remain committed to strong finances, cutting waste, and investing in priorities such as roads, schools, and community safety.
This is your chance to help set the agenda for the next 5 years. Which services should be prioritised? Please share your views by 9th October and help build a stronger Buckinghamshire. https://yourvoicebucks.citizenspace.com/corporate-services/budget-corpo…
