Conservative Association Chairman write to David Cameron

The Chairman of Aylesbury Conservative Association has written to Prime Minister, David Cameron, regarding the High Speed Rail proposals.
"Like many residents, I am deeply concerned about these proposals," said Paul Rogerson, "The route proposed cut through some beautiful countryside - some of which is protected as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty - this would cause massive environmental damage. As well as this, it would devastate communities up and down the line. We are not convinced that there is a business case to be made for these high speed proposals, especially as a time when the country can ill afford it."
"I have written to the Prime Minister on behalf of the Association highlighting our concerns, and those of local residents."
