David Lidington Working for Aylesbury

Today David Lidington, who has represented the Aylesbury constitunecy in Parliament for over 20 years was nominated as the Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for the Aylesbury Constituency for the General Election on Thursday 7th May 2015. 

Camborne Avenue Crossing Petition

Bedgrove Conservative Councillors Mark Winn, Tom Hunter-Watts and Brian Roberts joined with Aylesbury MP David Lidington last Saturday to collect signatures from local residents for their petition calling for pelican crossing between Camborne Avenue and Jansel Square. 

Aylesbury Awarded Purple Flag

Aylesbury has retained its Purple Flag award. This award has been handed out to only 54 towns adn cities across the UK and Ireland by the Association of Town & City Managment and recognises a safe town centre. 

Hampden Fields - Planning Permission Refused

Today it was announced that the Government Planning Inspector & Secretary of State Eric Pickles would uphold Aylesbury Vale District Council's decision to refuse planning permission for 3,000 homes at Hampden Fields (between Bedgrove & Weston Turville). 

Bedgrove Road Safety Campaign

Bedgrove Councillors who represent Bedgrove on the Town Council have all united behind an initiative Cllr Mark Winn put together to improve road safety in Bedgrove.
