Aylesbury Conservatives were delighted to unanimously readopt David Lidington as our candidate for the General Election on Thursday 8th June. David has represented the Aylesbury constituency for 25 years and will be out speaking to residents over the next month across the constituency.
The referendum vote last June was about something more than simply leaving the European Union. It was a vote for change: to make Britain stronger and fairer – restoring national self-determination while becoming even more global and international in action and spirit.
I am deeply disappointed by today’s announcement of the proposed closure of RAF Halton by 2022. This would mean the end of close relationships that have existed for a century between the Royal Air Force and not only Halton Parish, but Aylesbury, Wendover and other local communities.
