Tyne Road Green Update

Following on from the numerous objections put forward by local residents and the Councillors for Hawkslade & Walton Court Cllr Gary Powell today received some welcome news about the planning application to build on the green at Tyne Road. 

Annual General Meeting

Local government in Buckinghamshire faces its biggest shake-up for decades following the decision by Communities Secretary Sajid Javid to abolish the current County and District Councils in favour of a single, unitary council for the whole of Bucks.

Cllr Edward Sims Resigns

It is with a heavy heart that Councillor Edward Sims has announced that he is standing down from Aylesbury Town Council and Aylesbury Vale District Council. Edward has been active in Aylesbury politics since 2012, and was first elected to both Councils in 2015.

David Lidington MP welcomes M40 Noise Barrier Installation

David welcomed news from Highways England that noise barriers will start to be installed on 3 January 2018 at a number of locations between Wooburn and Stokenchurch. Allowing for the weather all works should be completed by the end of April 2018.

George Street Bollard

Edward and Barbara are very happy to see that after many years of lobbying Bucks County Council, a permanent bollard and No Entry sign have at last been installed at the end of George Street/Temple Square.
