2020 Local Elections Postponed

Today the Government announced that due to the coronavirus outbreak the local elections that were planned for 7th May 2020 will be postponed until 2021. 

Rob Butler elected as Member of Parliament for Aylesbury

In the early hours of Friday morning Rob Butler was elected as the Member of Parliament for the Aylesbury constituency. Rob will take the place of Sir David Lidington in Westminster, following Sir David's retirement.

In the early hours of Friday 13th December Rob Butler was elected as the Member of Parliament for the Aylesbury constituency with 54% share of the vote. You can watch his acceptance speech here. 

Sir David Lidington to stand down as MP for Aylesbury

Following a conversation with our Association Chairman, Cllr. Steve Broadbent,today Sir David Lidington has formally written to the our Executive Council to announce that he wishes to retire and not seek re-election for Parliament in the next General Election.

No Right Turn from Douglas Road into Stocklake

On Wednesday 7th August your Aylesbury East team were alerted to changes which will prohibit vehicles travelling on Douglas Road turning right into Stocklake towards the town centre.
