Sir David Lidington to stand down as MP for Aylesbury

Following a conversation with our Association Chairman, Cllr. Steve Broadbent,today Sir David Lidington has formally written to the our Executive Council to announce that he wishes to retire and not seek re-election for Parliament in the next General Election.

No Right Turn from Douglas Road into Stocklake

On Wednesday 7th August your Aylesbury East team were alerted to changes which will prohibit vehicles travelling on Douglas Road turning right into Stocklake towards the town centre.

Success for local Councillors

A new Post Office opened for business inside the Budgen Stores, 31-35 Parton Road. As well as mail they deal with automated bill payments, travel money (pre-order) and as well as personal and business banking.

Extra Funding to Help End Rough Sleepers in Aylesbury Vale

People sleeping rough on our streets is not what anyone wants to see. Every person sleeping rough, whatever their reasons for doing so, represents a personal tragedy which is why the Government have pledged to help eliminate rough sleeping in England by 2027.
