On Wednesday 25th April we were excited to relaunch our local Conservative Policy Forum. This first session focussed on the environment, giving our members the chance to have an in depth discussion about all aspects of the environment from cutting down on plastics to the impact Brexit will have on our environmental policies. The lively discussion allowed all members to have their say and all ideas and thoughts were very welcome.
Responses have already been to the national Conservative Policy Forum who will forward a summary of responses to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Rt Hon Michael Gove MP, CPF Chairman George Freeman MP; Conservative Vice-Chairman for Policy, Chris Skidmore MP; and the Prime Minister’s Policy Unit.
CPF gives members the chance to help decide what forms our national policies and gives direction to our manifestos. Our next topic for discussion, in July, will be health and social care. If you are interested in coming along please do register your interest at firstname.lastname@example.org.
